AMA ATVA Nationals at Lorettas Lynn's August 8th, 2015

Loretta Lynn's is always the last race of the season, well usually!! Am I looking forward to it? Yes and No... Its so close to home and lots of familiar faces I want to see and for the last time before next season. It's gonna be super hot, so everyone stay hydrated. I would love to go there and win my 7th National Pro Race at Lorettas Dude Ranch, 7 is my lucky number after all, but I am not 100% ready, unfortunately! I was more ready in December and January than I am now. I have had 5 races where I was docked positions, had my qualifying results taken away, not allowed to race the 2nd moto and Disqualified and yes this is just this year. I was not motivated to attend Redbud, as I have attended 9 races at that point and was messed with on 5 of them. I will be at Loretta's to watch and cheer on fellow racers and friends, I  may even race, but thats yet to be decided.
It's unfortunate that our sport is headed in the direction it is and lacks the support of the big Factories. I have been racing for 30 years professionally and have never seen it as bad as it is right now, thats even including the hybrid days!! I am hoping for Honda and Suzuki to come out with something new and fast, as there has to be light at the end of the tunnel for all these kids growing up in the amateur classes (as well as the parents dishing out so much money). Otherwise, we will lose them to dirt bikes, go-carts, trophy trucks, etc.  I don't know where I am going with this, other than things have got to chance and fast or we will have no new blood and maybe thats what some people want? Anyways hope to watch some fu band exciting races at Loretta's in less than 2 weeks!!! See everyone there.
